2017 San Francisco Hickory Open
Saturday, November 4th - 11:00
Lincoln Park Golf Course
1914 - Jack Neville and Herbert Fowler
SF HICKORY UPDATE:
During our latest event at Del Monte, the club has decided to return to Lincoln Park after Presidio was less than receptive to hosting our group. Lance @ Lincoln Park set us up immediately and we look forward to returning to our annual venue. We have also pushed the date a week later to Saturday Nov 4th to give a little more time to recuperate from the COW Cup.
~ Green fees (around $50 depending on residency) payable at course
* Carts if needed, purchased separately at course.
To sign up, just give us a heads up that you'd like to attend.
Our final planned event of the season, the San Francisco event is an informal made-on-the-fly fun day of golf. We typically go out for a drink/bite to eat post round as well as scrap together a skins game.
Always a blast and looking forward to another fun day at the Park!
Nothing represents San Francisco and Northern California better than the unmistakable landmark that is the Golden Gate Bridge. Add a 100+ year old golf hole to the mix and you have NorCal Hickory Golf at its finest.
Lincoln Park is a wonderful hickory course that hasn't changed much in the past century. It certainly has a rich tradition of hosting the long standing San Francisco City Championship amateur tournament, “The City” .
Overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge and surrounding the historic art museum at the Palace of the Legion of Honor, the course is under 5000 yards from the white tees. With four par 4's under 300 yards and three par 3's over 200, the back nine at Lincoln is unusual in design.
Lincoln Park's rolling terrain, shot making, and short length, makes for an exciting skins game.
* Men White tees - 4948 yards 64.6/106
* Ladies Red tees - 4732 yards 67.0/106
(will receive 2 extra strokes)
* Loaner clubs available as always
