A big thanks to everyone for making the Apple City Hickory Open the warm family get together that it is! We may have drank a bit too much of Jacques Wine (thank you Michael) as usual, but it sure was tasty.

2017 Champion Michael Scott. John Sweeney managed to nip Steve Henneuse for 2nd place, winning a card off.
The Spring Hills trio of George Marciel, Paul Darling, and Ron Taylor shot a 4 under par 68 with our loaner clubs to capture the Scramble Division. Maybe even more impressive for the first time hickory players, is that they managed to win closest to the pin pots (#9 & #13) versus the veteran hickory field!

A big portion of the field were experiencing Spring Hills for the first time. The course has an initiation fee when it comes to unlucky bounces and kicks. You may have to pay a lesser fee subsequently, but it is a guarantee, the staff and owners will greet you by your name upon your much appreciated return.
